We have a wealth of training tools and systems within Café Rouge. In fact, we have every tool required to take somebody from their first day of induction through to management level and beyond. What is really important is that each restaurant team is able to make full use of the tools available, to ensure that everyone is properly equipped to do their roles to the best of their abilities. Our approach to training consists of four key elements: e-learning, workbooks, one to one training and practical training.
We have a structured training programme for our teams, tailor made for each position and covering every aspect of the role. We have a career development programme that helps you plan your career path whatever your role and the direction you want to take.

We have different chef levels that guide your training and develop you from commis chef to Sous Chef.

We have various programmes which support team members moving into supervisor, all the way through to Assistant Manager and Head Chefs moving into General Manager and beyond to Associate Area Manager. We have many internal development success stories not only with managers in the restaurant, but also with our Area Managers and those in various departments in our Support Centre.
